How We Handle Nested JSON
Real-world JSON is rarely a clean flat array of scalar fields. It is full of nested metadata objects, polymorphic schemas, arrays of sub-records, and boolean states. Our engine supports:
- Dot Notation Flattening: Converts
{"user": {"address": {"city": "Berlin"}}}into cleanuser.address.citycolumn headers. - Underscore Notation: Generates SQL/warehouse-friendly identifiers such as
user_address_city. - Custom Delimiter Controls: Export comma (
,), semicolon (;), tab (\t), or pipe (|) formats with custom quotation options.
